In a bizarre partnership that breaks usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Disclosed

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret cult.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar trials and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Changes

The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Extra Content

Players who accomplish the quest will acquire an unique katana together with several items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
